January is always a good month to reflect on the previous year, while also looking forward to planning ahead for the new year and fresh starts! Vida Salon had many changes over the last year, and one of the most exciting ones is that Melissa Newton officially became Mrs. Melissa Koprash! She and Matt had a beautiful wedding in October, and the Vida family was so happy to attend and witness the moving ceremony. At the reception, after a delicous dinner, we partied the night away along with all of Matt and Melissas family and friends. What a wonderful and special day! Another exciting thing that happened to Melissa is that she completed her apprenticeship and is now a fully licenced hair stylist, working on developing her clientele at Vida. Congratulations !
Over the past year, all of our stylists have travelled to Metro Academy in Toronto to attend a variety of advanced education classes , including colour, cutting , styling and product knowledge . Continuing Education is something that we strongly believe in at Vida, and we strive to keep up with the latest in techniques and trends.
